Add a Dog of the Week Community Feature

I’d love to see a simple Dog of the Week feature in the community.

The idea would be to let members share photos of their dogs and have one featured each week on the homepage or in a community spotlight post. This could be a fun way to encourage participation and give members a more personal way to connect with each other.

Why this could be useful:

• gives members a light and fun reason to engage
• encourages more photo sharing and comments
• helps build community connection
• creates easy recurring content for admins

Possible features:

• a weekly submission thread
• voting or staff pick selection
• a featured badge for the winning post
• a homepage or sidebar spotlight

Example use case: A lot of members enjoy sharing personal updates and pet photos. Having a Dog of the Week feature could make the space feel more welcoming and give people a fun reason to come back regularly.
